Bible Baptist Academy
Bible Baptist Academy, founded in 1997, exists to provide a quality Christian education at an affordable cost. The academy uses A Beka curriculum. In some cases, we are pleased to use the A Beka video program. This allows teaching many subjects that are not available in other schools, such as Spanish I & II, and French I & II. All subjects and classes are taught in the intended order.
Our onsite teachers provide an excellent learning environment. The low student/teacher ratio improves the quality of instruction and helps children understand the subjects better. With the goal of quality Christian education, Bible Baptist Academy admits only students without discipline problems. In the same way, students are not allowed to disrupt classes.
Bible Baptist Academy meets or exceeds all the requirements of state board of education. The Academy is a member of Christian Schools of Ohio and American Association of Christian Schools. The high Stanford Achievement Test results of our students prove the quality of the school program. Graduates of Bible Baptist Academy have been readily accepted at colleges and universities.
Our students in grades 6 through 12 enjoy the sports program. Playing only with the other Christian schools, our teams have participated in boys' and girls' basketball, as well as in girls' volleyball games.
The music program at Bible Baptist Academy provides the opportunity for children to learn music and drama. Our Christmas program has always been a favorite. The high school students have enjoyed attending the Ohio Valley music festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
We look upon Bible Baptist Academy as a ministry, not a business. That is why keeping the tuition affordable is the aim of our school. The annual tuition is about $2000, and there are discounts for families with more than one enrolled student. Some scholarship funds are available.
In November of 2003, the Lord blessed our school with the completion of a 12,000 square foot addition. We are enjoying our new classrooms and large cafeteria. The additional space will definitely give our school room as we grow.
